Are you investing or wasting time?

The clock is always ticking, days become months, months become years, and years become a lifetime. No one has worked out how to stop or rewind time, are you investing or wasting time?

Everyone gets the same 24 hours, but not everyone is getting the same results.

WHY do some people get more return on their 24 hours than others?

Below are the answers we usually get when we ask this question:

  •  Because they have more money
  •  Because they have staff to run their house
  •  Because they have a driver
  •  Because they have a team
  •  Because they have a partner
  •  Because their life is easier

While we are not discounting the above, in 99.9% of the cases we researched the people that are getting more return on their 24 hours didn’t start out with what they have today. They built the life and the support structure they have.

HOW did they manage to build what they have today from nothing?

They have different beliefs about what is possible. They chose to look at their rock bottom as a solid foundation to build on. They invested their time in activities that returned them the results they have today.

The actions they took created momentum, if you have ever pushed a snowball down a hill you will know that not only does it pick up speed it also grows in size.

Small actions taken on a continual daily basis add up.

“Once you have mastered time, you will understand how true it is that most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year – and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!” – Tony Robbins

Are YOU interested or committed

There are two types of people in life, there are interested people and committed people.

Interested people like the idea of trying new things, getting more of what they want and less of what they don’t. They would love things to change but are not ready to do anything about it.

Committed people, on the other hand, want to try new things, are ready to get more of what they want. They are open to change and are prepared to do whatever it takes.

There is a third type of person

In our work over the last 6 years, we have noticed a third type of person. We call them the committed in training.

Nothing in life is black and white, there are always shades of grey

These individuals are more than ‘interested in change’ but less than ‘fully committed’.

Imagine a swimming pool they are on the edge of it dipping their toe in to see if the water is warm enough to dive in. If you have ever done this before then you will know the only way to get into the water is to jump or dive straight in. No one can explain what water feels like.

Your 24 hours

Change happens the moment you dive in.
